What this means in cultivation

Trailing stems move across shallow ground while rounded leaves store water. Bright filtered light, shallow airy soil, and rapid drainage reproduce the useful structural conditions.

Care principle

Reproduce the function of the native setting rather than copying a watering calendar. Check light, temperature, root-zone air, drainage, and the plant’s current growth before acting.
