Lafayette translation

This species is native within the United States, but local winter survival still depends on its natural range and provenance. Protect non-hardy container plants from Lafayette freezes and reduce water when cold or weak light slows growth.

Care principle

To understand the care of a plant, understand its native climate and environment. Verify the plant’s identity, then reproduce the native setting’s functions rather than copying a calendar.
