Translate the setting

Use two parts screened loam or potting mix, one part compost, and one part coarse sand or perlite. Place the plant where full sun; tolerates light shade, and adjust watering to growth and drying rather than a fixed weekday.

Care principle

To understand the care of a plant, understand its native climate and environment. Verify the plant’s identity, then reproduce the native setting’s functions rather than copying a calendar.
