General Information Sheet

Liquid fertilizer

Fertilizer supports growth; it does not correct poor light, damaged roots, unsuitable soil, or incorrect watering.

Read the analysis

The three prominent numbers are the percentages by weight of total nitrogen, available phosphate, and soluble potash. The guaranteed analysis lists nutrient sources and any secondary or micronutrients. Match the product to the plant and growing method.

Mix accurately

  1. Confirm the label rate for the plant, container, and application method.
  2. Measure water and concentrate with dedicated tools.
  3. Add concentrate to water unless the label directs otherwise.
  4. Mix only what is needed and label any permitted stored solution.

Never combine products unless every applicable label allows it.

Apply to an appropriate root zone

Apply when the potting mix is already slightly moist unless the label says otherwise. Do not fertilize a severely wilted, frozen, heat-stressed, newly damaged, or actively rotting plant. Reduce or pause feeding when light and growth are low.

Prevent salt injury

White crust, burned leaf edges, and stalled growth can signal accumulated salts or other root problems. Ensure free drainage and periodically water thoroughly enough for excess to leave the container. Never let the pot stand in the drainage water.

Store and dispose safely

Keep fertilizer in its original labeled container, closed, dry, and away from children, pets, food, and drains. Follow label and local disposal directions. Clean spills promptly without washing concentrated fertilizer into storm drains or waterways.
